Programmatic Manager

Inbox Insight is a fast paced B2B marketing business. We have seen excellent YoY growth and have expanded our product offering along the way.

This role is fundamental to servicing UK and US clients with programmatic buying across display, mobile, video and social.

You will need a work hard, think harder attitude – be open to exploring new technology within digital advertising – and be able to work in a fast-paced environment with exceptional precision and accuracy.

Position Description

The candidate will be central to our programmatic offering, and take overall responsibility for strategic display campaigns across a variety of B2B clients, whilst sharing their knowledge and passion along the way.

The ideal candidate will be a team player who has prior programmatic buying experience (preferably in a B2B setting), strong analytical, writing and comprehension skills, and experience with DSP technologies, particularly within DV360.

Most importantly, they must possess an inner drive to be forward thinking, innovative and experimental, so the business can be reactive and proactive to changes in digital media.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain responsibility for programmatic display performance, delivery and reporting within the team.
  • Manage workflow and workload across each campaign’s lifecycle.
  • Oversee and manage programmatic campaigns for clients across display, video & mobile (e.g. auction/exchange-based performance media, audience-based buying, remarketing campaigns).
  • Work effectively with the planning, digital, client and marketing teams.
  • Understand and effectively communicate value proposition, technology and processes involved.
  • Troubleshoot issues on all pre-production and live campaigns.
  • Oversee and resolve QA processes to ensure accurate trafficking routines, campaign set ups and result delivery.
  • Be a first point of escalation for campaign performance queries.
  • Identify areas of improvement within the team and within campaign workflows to improve efficiency and performance.
  • Proactively explore PMPs, high impact formats, contextual solutions and other third party technology partners within the B2B programmatic space.
  • Understand and be able to contribute to additional biddable channels including PPC, remarketing and paid social.
  • Bring knowledge of the media owner landscape across inventory, targeting, best practices, creative solutions, high impact, mobile, geo-location, etc.

Knowledge & Experience

Essential

  • Minimum of 3 years experience of working in programmatic.
  • Extensive knowledge of the digital ad tech landscape, particularly within the Google marketing tech stack:
    • DSPs – specifically DV360
    • Ad servers – specifically Google Campaign Manager
    • Measurement – specifically Google Analytics
    • Other – Google Ads and AdRoll form part of our tech stack
  • Be technically sound at tagging set up, including floodlight pixels and site-wide pixels for capturing audiences and tracking data.
  • Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategy and best practice.
  • A knowledge of PPC and other biddable platforms would be preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of the media owner landscape across inventory, creative solutions, high impact format providers, mobile geo-location, etc.

Skill & Abilities

  • Meticulous, analytical and detailed oriented.
  • Ability to work independently, capable of managing multiple projects and internal stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented, organized be able to adapt to changing demands.
  • Deliver data-driven results, analysis, testing and application of findings.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills: pivot tables, chart building, etc.
  • Knowledge of data platforms like Bombora would be desirable.
  • Knowledge of project management or collaboration platforms (e.g. Basecamp, Monday.com, Jira) would be desirable.
  • Knowledge of dynamic display creatives (Studio) would be desirable.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Degree level education
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office solutions – particularly Excel
  • Strong analytical thinking, mathematical skills, and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Ability to organise and manage the workload of a team.

Campaign Executive – US

This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing US Client Services team as a Campaign Executive. We offer a competitive remuneration package, on-going training, a friendly environment and remote working.

Core responsibilities and role overview:

  • Writing concise and eye-catching copy to be used for US and EMEA lead generation campaigns, whilst coming up with imaginative and engaging titles to drive response amongst subscribers.
  • Liaising with translation companies and freelancers to ensure multi-lingual projects are completed on time and subsequently inputted into our system.
  • Prioritizing new campaign set up and providing clients with final creative within 48-72 hours to ensure campaigns can launch quickly and efficiently. Amending copy until final approval is granted by clients.
  • Setting up both online and offline campaigns within our system with a high level of accuracy and speed.
  • Client communication throughout campaign duration – dealing with any queries in a professional and timely manner
  • Providing content consultancy via Content Audits and End of Campaign Reports to help our clients improve their campaign performance and marketing strategies.
  • Closely monitoring the progress of campaigns from launch through to completion and working alongside other stakeholders, being responsible for hitting campaign deadlines, pacing, lead delivery & campaign strategy
  • Additional requirements may be added as and when the business requires it

  • Previous experience in the B2B marketing industry is preferential, but not essential
  • Must have a perfectionist approach, keen attention to detail and be very organized to be able to cope with the pressure of a fast paced work environment.

  • The role is suited to someone who is comfortable working both independently but also within a team.

Email Specialist

We are looking to appoint a dynamic Email Specialist to join our in-house Email team at our Winchester head office. We currently operate on a hybrid working model with minimum 1 day a week in the Winchester office, so it is advantageous to be local to Winchester.

  • Writing and optimising copy and subject lines for all client email activity to increase response.
  • Building global email schedules.
  • Quality checking and reviewing all email sends before broadcasting.
  • Proof-reading key messaging in and out of email templates and working to constantly improve quality.
  • Reporting and learning from send performance so the channel can evolve and improve.
  • Communicating with the Campaign Delivery and Data Services teams.
  • Recommend intent targeting for broadcasts, checking that filters are made using the most accurate topics for the content.

  • Processing email orders.
  • Assisting in implementing an email split test program to improve email best practices within the company and reporting back to the wider organisation about findings.
  • Communicating learnt email insight to departments for use in client & internal communications.
